BROWN-LANIER HOUSE TEAS SET FOR 2008

MILL SPRINGS, KY: The 2008 season for monthly teas, held at the Brown-Lanier House, was recently announced.  Set for the second Saturday of each month, beginning at 11 a.m., the Brown-Lanier House teas offer a different menu every month reflecting the seasons and major holidays throughout the year.

Located on KY 1275 in Mill Springs, the Brown-Lanier House is owned and operated by the Mill Springs Battlefield Association.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 606-871-9723.  Visa, MasterCard and American Express are taken to place reservations.

The 2008 season for Brown-Lanier House teas will take place on Saturday, January 12^th, International Tea Buffet; February 9^th, Valentine Tea with violinist Bill McNeil; March 8^th, St. Patrick’s Tea; April 12^th Spring Buffet; May 10^th, Mother’s Day Tea; June 14^th, Summer Tea; July 12^th, Patriotic Buffet; August 9^th, Summer Tea;  September 13^th, Autumn Tea; October 11^th, Apples and More Buffet; November 8^th, Thanksgiving Tea; and December 13^th , Christmas Tea.

An additional tea will take place on Saturday, February 23 at 11 a.m. to commemorate the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth.  Lincoln’s favorite foods, plus foods famous to Kentucky, will be served.
