In honor of the Sesquescentennial of the Battle of Mill Springs, the Mill Springs Battlefield Association is hosting its 4th Reenactment on January 21-22, 2012. This event will be held on the original Mill Springs Battlefield where Union and Confederate soldiers fought and lost their lives. All battles will be fought in real time. There will be action for all branches. This event will commemorate the the battle as the first victory of the Civil War fo the Union and General George Thomas.

The Mill Springs Battlefield is located 9 miles west of Somerset in the Lake Cumberland Region and South Central Kentucky.
